The 2011 Allegheny Pirates

The Allegheny Pirates consist of players who desire the chance to play college or professional baseball. The team has a reputation for being one of the elite fall baseball teams. We are proud of our association with the Pittsburgh Pirates and their involvement and support of the team. This is the team's 16th year, with more than 295 past or present players: 280 players are playing or have played college baseball, 205 Division I scholarships, 52 players drafted, with 18 current minor leaguers and 4 major leaguers. |
The goal is to get our players to the next level .Our players will also be competing against other quality teams, building confidence , gaining experience ,and learning to respect the game, while having fun playing it. Allegheny Pirate players have played in front of scouts from virtually every major league team and at least 160 division I schools, 40 division II schools and 30 division III schools. Current and past players have participated in over 60 division I baseball programs. |
